The Tour de Parks is sponsored by Friends of the Legacy Trail (FLT). In 2013 it is scheduled for Sunday 3/24/13 and will include a 16 mile bicycle ride on the VWP and Legacy Trail and 37 and 62 mile rides on the trails and on public roads. In addition to the ride, participants receive breakfast, lunch and a t-shirt. As a celebration of the event's name, the routes pass by or through 26 different city, county and state parks. The start and finish for the Tour de Parks is the Venice Train Depot.
